Currently Hans Michael Jebsen is the Chairman of the Group, with Helmuth Hennig as the Group Managing Director. == History == Originally founded in 1895 as a shipping agency, by Heinrich Jessen and Jacob Jebsen, Jebsen & Co later embraced the import-export trade business in the early years of British colonial rule. In 1953, Jebsen imported the first Volkswagen Beetle into Hong Kong. In 1963, the company was required to temporarily close its offices in China, afterwards opening them again in the late 1970s.
